Podoby současné fotografie je cyklus přednášek mapující rozličné tvůrčí i teoretické přístupy k médiu fotografie na současné české i mezinárodní scéně. Publiku se představí jak „vystudovaní fotografové a fotografky“ tak „umělci a umělkyně pracující s fotografií“ či „teoretikové a teoretičky fotografie a umění“. Přednásky probíhají v přednáškovém sále Domu pánů z Kunštátu v 18:00.

Tento projekt FaVU VUT je financován grantem FRVŠ, probíhá ve spolupráci s Domem umění města Brna, kavárnou Trojka a o. s. ARS PUBLICA, s finanční podporou Statutárního města Brna. Mediálním partnerem je Metropolis.
